Old Ale wins World Beer Cup Bronze
Our HMS Bounty Old Ale, won the Bronze Award, in the Old Ale category, at the 2008 World Beer Cup ®, in San Diego, CA on Saturday April, 19. There were 2,864 beers entered from 644 breweries in 58 countries, judged in the competition's 91 beer-style categories. This is the second time we've been honored with a World Beer Cup award. At the last competition in 2006, our HMS Victory ESB won gold in the Special or Best Bitter category.
Now Open Mondays!
Extended Hours Starting March 31
Monday-Thursday 3-9 pm
Friday-Saturday 12-10pm
New Equipment
We still have no idea where we're going to put it, but it's here. We recently purchased a new brewhouse to put in our new location (wherever we land). It's currently being stored at Ruddell's Custom Print (thanks Dave!)

"Business" Hours
Our tasting room is open for pints, growler fills, kegs, and merchandise sales. Our "normal" hours of operation are:
- Monday - Thursday, 3pm - 9pm
- Friday & Saturday, noon - 10pm
- Sunday - closed
The hours are somewhat flexible. Some evenings we may stay open later. No sense kicking everybody out with the Avs going into overtime... we're going to stay and watch the end... you might as well too!!
Our Beers
On tap, we've got five "stock" beers, five seasonals, and maybe some extra batches in the back:

Firkin Fridays
On Fridays we have a special beer available for one day only. This specially prepared beer is naturally carbonated, served from a cask with a gravity tap, and is served at a warmer "cellar" temperature. These cask ales, or real ales, are a tribute to the history of beer. The name firkin is a liquid measure (equivalent to 10.8 US gallons), that is also used to refer to the cask. Check the events page for our schedule of firkins.
Around Town
If you can't get to the brewery, or when we're closed, you can still enjoy one of our beers. We're currently serving the following beers at the following locations:
