We're a few weeks in now and things are actually a bit ahead of schedule! In the last two weeks they have finished framing and 1/2 of the drywall is up. It's great being able to walk around the space now and see how all the rooms layout. It's a lot better then following my tape marks on the floor. They have also almost finished the rough electrical and rough plumbing. The HVAC guys are laying all the new ductwork and the new Heater/Air Conditioner units are on the roof!
The other day when I was walking around the bathrooms I noticed that the women's was quite a bit bigger then the men's. Obviously another stall is wider then a urinal, but even their counter top is a lot bigger. I shouldn't be surprised given that I have a female architect. Chelsea and Michelle probably decided to make it bigger when they were picking out colors. If the plumbing for the urinal wasn't already roughed in, I'd switch the bathrooms on them.
The cooler walls are all in place and it seems HUGE! I'm sure it will look a lot smaller when we put 15 tanks in there. We marked on the cooler where the faucets are going to be. It looks like we'll have 16 faucets, so we can have 15 beers and a root beer/cream soda. I'm kindof nervous that won't be enough, but I think it will probably be fine.
I'll try and do a better job of keeping you updated as we finish up in the next 5 or 6 weeks.
Cheers,
Kevin
